Recording Game Footage

So I am thinking about purchasing all the required stuff to get HD in game footage recorded. But I really don't know where to start.I have a 50 Inch Panasonic Viera Plasma with HDMI ran to my PS3 and its running on a wireless network with a older computer. Is it realistic for me to be able to record it with a capture card or what?

Does anyone know what I will need and how much its gona cost$ I want to do this asap so let me know( we can have vids and montages put on this site and youtube by the end of the week if the price is right.

That'd be great for the tourney. I wish I knew how to help with the information, ask amanda, she has a capture card from what I hear.

I have a capture card, but in order to record in HD you would need something like a dazzle
